Police in Hampshire are urgently searching for a man connected to a disturbing incident on a Blue Star bus. The attack took place between 6pm and 6.30pm on Sunday, January 18, when a teenage girl was verbally abused and spat at while the bus was stationary at the junction of West Bargate and Hanover Buildings.
Officers have released a description of the suspect to assist the investigation. The man is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, about 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a grey coat and green trousers, had a beard, and was seen with a black cloth covering his head.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight police have stated that this man may hold vital information regarding the incident. They are urging him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward without delay.
