Victoria Line Chaos as Body Found on Tracks at Vauxhall
Rush hour nightmare on the Victoria Line after a body was discovered on the tracks at Vauxhall station Friday afternoon. Emergency services flooded the scene around 4.30pm, bringing the busy line to a standstill. Police and paramedics made a desperate attempt to save the victim but sadly confirmed death at the scene.
Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances
British Transport Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious. A spokesperson revealed:
“Officers were called to Vauxhall Underground station at around 4.30pm on Friday (26 September) following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
