Crash at Busy Roundabout Causes Chaos
The collision happened shortly before 5:35 PM at the roundabout where Avenue Road meets High Street. Witnesses say the pedestrian, who seemed drunk, stood in the middle of the road before being struck by a Nissan coming from the Esplanade direction.
