On Saturday, July 16, at around 6pm, two men targeted a 17-year-old girl on a train service in Scunthorpe, subjecting her to inappropriate sexual comments.
The situation escalated when one of the men touched the girl inappropriately and attempted to lure her to a hotel.
Several passengers witnessed the disturbing behaviour and intervened to assist the distressed teenager. As a result, the two men were promptly removed from the train at Scunthorpe railway station.
British Transport Police are urgently seeking anyone who was on the train at the time and witnessed the incident. Witness accounts could be crucial to the ongoing investigation.
