Kent Police were called to Middelburg Square at 10.05 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, following a serious collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
A man in his 70s sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital by air ambulance. Emergency responders from the South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
The Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the incident and is seeking anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage that could assist with the inquiry.
