Police are investigating a serious road traffic incident that occurred at Treleigh Industrial Estate in Redruth on Tuesday 23 June. A man in his 60s was trapped by a heavy goods vehicle and sustained life-changing injuries.

The ambulance service alerted police at 10.05am, prompting emergency crews to attend the scene promptly. Due to the severity of the injuries, the man was airlifted to hospital for urgent treatment.

The road around the industrial estate was closed for a thorough collision investigation. Officers are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

Wiltshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses. Anyone who witnessed the event or has dashcam footage is asked to come forward. Information can be reported on the police website or by calling 101, quoting log number 230 of 23/06/2026.

The victim’s next of kin have been informed by authorities, and support measures are being offered as the investigation continues.
