Chaos has erupted on the M25 anti-clockwise at Junction 2, close to the A2 Darenth Interchange in Kent, following a two-car collision that has brought traffic to a near standstill.
The crash has blocked the carriageway, with debris scattered across the road, causing significant disruption for commuters and motorists in the area.
National Highways: South-East confirmed the incident on social media shortly after it occurred, warning drivers of the debris and the resulting traffic congestion.
The Kent Police Roads Policing Unit is currently on scene, directing traffic and managing the aftermath of the collision. Authorities have urged motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes due to expected long delays.
