A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital after a crash on the M25 near the Dartford Crossing. Police are urgently hunting a second vehicle that fled the scene following the incident.
The collision occurred at 1:21pm on the anti-clockwise carriageway at Junction 1A. Kent Police, highways officers, and paramedics responded quickly to the scene to treat the injured rider before transporting them to a local hospital. The extent of the rider’s injuries has not yet been disclosed.
“The second vehicle did not stop following the collision, and enquiries are underway to identify it,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
The crash has caused significant traffic congestion near the Dartford Crossing on the M25. Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect long delays.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information about the crash or the fleeing vehicle is urged to contact Kent Police immediately.
