Firefighters have been called to tackle a large field fire near Devizes in Wiltshire this afternoon. Two fire engines from Devizes and Amesbury were dispatched to the blaze near the Redhorn Gate car park, close to Urchfont Shooting Ground, where crews are working to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading further across the countryside. 
The fire has damaged part of the field, with smoke visible from the surrounding area. The full extent of the damage is not yet known. The cause of the blaze has not been established, and there have been no reports of any injuries. Members of the public are being urged to avoid the area while firefighters continue to tackle the incident. 
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service remains at the scene, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
