Detectives are actively searching for a predator who raped a teenage girl in a park in Tunbridge Wells. The attack took place near Belgrave Road on the evening of Saturday, 18 October 2025.
The victim was walking home along Victoria Road between 8pm and 9.45pm when a man approached her. He persuaded her to walk with him towards Mount Ephraim Road before dragging her into a nearby park. There, he threatened and sexually assaulted the terrified teenager.
Police have released a description of the suspect to aid the investigation. The man is described as approximately 5ft 8in tall, in his mid-thirties, with dark hair tied in a bun, a short beard and moustache. He was wearing a blue jacket and was riding a bicycle with thick tyres.
Kent Police are following multiple lines of inquiry, including forensic testing, reviewing CCTV footage, and conducting door-to-door enquiries. Officers remain in the area as the investigation continues.
