Police officers are urgently searching for Desteny Sturgess Green, who vanished from Womersley early on the morning of Saturday 5 March 2022. The 5ft 5in woman was last seen at 6.50am at the Jet Garage on Selby Road, Askern.
Desteny is described as slim, approximately 5ft 5in tall, with long straight brown hair. She was wearing a grey hoodie, black trousers, and Nike trainers. She was also carrying a black bag at the time of her disappearance.
Known to have links to South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, and Derbyshire, Desteny is now officially classified as a high-risk missing person. Police have expressed growing concern for her welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward immediately.
