A significant search mission took place overnight in Hastings as coastguard teams worked to locate a missing person. Sussex Police requested assistance from the UK Coastguard in the early hours of Monday to enhance the search efforts.
With a large area to cover, additional Coastguard teams from Bexhill and Rye Bay were deployed to assist in the operation. The Rescue 175 helicopter also joined the search, flying over Hastings seafront and surrounding areas.
Despite the comprehensive and intense all-night search, no trace of the missing individual was found. The search was officially called off shortly after 5.30am on Monday morning.
