Emergency teams rushed to Frizlands Lane, Dagenham, on Saturday afternoon following a serious crash that left two people trapped inside an overturned car.

The collision involved two vehicles, with one flipping onto its side and trapping the occupants inside. Firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) acted swiftly to free the two trapped individuals.

Nearby, London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics attended to the injured, providing urgent medical care. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police officers took control of the scene, managing traffic and enforcing road closures.

Frizlands Lane remains closed as emergency crews work to clear the wreckage and assess the damage. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Officers will review CCTV footage and gather witness statements to determine what happened.
