Missing Woman Sparks Urgent Police Search in Bournemouth
Dorset Police are desperately hunting for Gillian Greenwood, 59, who vanished from Bournemouth last Friday. Gillian left her home on Wellington Road between 2pm and 3pm, saying she was off to the hairdressers – but she never arrived.
Last Seen Outside Charminster Creams
The last confirmed sighting of Gillian was at 3.30pm near the Creams cafe on Charminster Road. Since then, there’s been no sign of her.
Gillian needs vital medication for a health condition but alarmingly, she did not take it with her. This has police growing increasingly worried for her wellbeing.

- Height: 5ft 2in
- Appearance: White, long black hair
- Outfit: Dark jeans, black jacket
- Accessories: Large brown handbag
- No mobile phone with her

“Officers are currently searching the Bournemouth area for Gillian,” said Inspector Anna Harvey. “If anyone has seen Gillian or a woman matching this description, please contact Dorset Police immediately. And Gillian, if you see this message, please get in touch – we are worried and want to make sure you are safe.”
