Paramedics raced to Loxham Road at 3.30pm today (October 15) after a serious traffic collision involving a child.
Child Treated at Scene and Rushed to Major Trauma Centre
The London Ambulance Service quickly arrived and gave urgent treatment to the young victim before rushing them to a major trauma centre in London. The child’s condition is currently unknown.
“We were called today (Weds) at 3.30pm to reports of a traffic collision in Loxham Road, E4,” a spokesperson said. We sent an ambulance crew and treated a child at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre.”
Chingford Road Shut, Drivers Told to Avoid Area
Nearby Chingford Road remains closed between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road, causing significant delays for motorists.
“Due to a traffic incident, Chingford Road is closed to car traffic between Walthamstow Avenue and Loxham Road,” said a London Borough of Waltham Forest spokesperson. “If you can, please avoid the area and use an alternate driving route.”
