West Yorkshire Police launched an urgent appeal for witnesses following a serious collision involving an electric assisted pedal cycle and a moped in Bradford on 19 June.

The crash occurred at 2.17pm and left a 22-year-old man seriously injured. Emergency services responded immediately and the man was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Police confirmed that the moped involved fled the scene after the collision. Witnesses reported that the vehicle sped away, prompting an ongoing search by officers.

Two men, aged 22 and 27, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Both remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Authorities are specifically seeking information about a Sinnis Shuttle moped believed to be connected to the incident. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward to assist with inquiries.
