Kent Police found a body near Buckland Hill, Maidstone, at around 8:50 pm on Thursday, 7 December 2023. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although formal identification is still pending, the body is believed to be that of a 34-year-old man who was reported missing just a day earlier, on Wednesday, 6 December. His family has been informed of the tragic discovery following a frantic search.
Authorities have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious. A full report will be submitted to the coroner to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. Police continue their inquiries and have pledged to disclose all relevant details as the investigation progresses.
