After facing backlash online, Eilish responded defiantly on Instagram by sharing graphic footage of animal slaughter. She urged her followers to reconsider their stance on meat consumption and its environmental consequences.
In an “Ask Me Anything” video with Elle, Eilish was asked about the “one hill she would die on.” Without hesitation, she stated, “Eating meat is inherently wrong. You can eat meat – go for it – you can love animals, but you can’t do both.” Her comments immediately sparked reactions across social media platforms.
Following criticism labeling her views as “hypocritical” and “privileged,” Eilish fired back on Instagram. She posted unsettling videos of animal slaughter with the caption: “stay f*cking mad at ME i really don’t give a goddamn f*ck go watch a documentary or two and some footage of what is done to the animals u claim to love and what it does to the planet u pretend to love as well.” She challenged those offended to reflect on their beliefs.
