Essex Police are currently managing a serious crash on the westbound A13 near Thurrock, close to the M25 junction. The incident, involving a lorry and a car, occurred early on Monday 12 October at approximately 6:45am.

Officers from Roads Policing and Highways 1 have completely closed the road to allow emergency teams to work safely at the scene. Traffic is being diverted onto the A1012, causing significant delays in the area.

At least two people are reported to have sustained serious injuries in the collision. Police remain on site and continue to manage the situation.

Essex Police issued a statement saying, “Thank you to all motorists for your patience and understanding as we deal with this incident.”
