Hastings Man Arrested Over November Rape Attack
Suspect Hands Himself In After Shocking Home Invasion
Sussex Police have swooped on a 32-year-old man from Hastings after a terrifying rape incident on Milward Crescent last month. The attack took place just before 7pm on November 30, when the stranger forced his way into a woman’s home after knocking at her door.
CCTV and E-Fit Appeal Leads to Breakthrough
Following a public plea featuring CCTV footage and an e-fit of the suspect, the man voluntarily surrendered to Hastings Police Station around 9am on December 7. He was promptly arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in custody as detectives dig deeper.
