A savage low-pressure beast named Storm Amy is charging towards the UK, threatening to drench northern and western regions with pounding rain and fierce gusts.

Met Office Drops Warnings for Gale-Force Winds and Flood Threats

The Met Office has issued a flurry of weather warnings across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northwest England. Expect relentless winds blowing 50 to 60 mph inland, while exposed coastal areas could be blasted with hurricane-force gusts topping 70 to 80 mph.
