Three-Year-Old Hospitalised After Brutal Dog Attack

Police were called to Rectory Fields, Ealing, at about 1pm on September 24 after a horrifying attack on a young child. A three-year-old girl suffered serious leg injuries and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.

Dog Owner Flees Scene – Police Hunting Suspect

The owner of the dog reportedly fled before officers arrived. So far, no arrests have been made.

“Officers are investigating an alleged dog attack which occurred at around 12:50hrs on Wednesday, 24 September in Rectory Fields, Ealing,” said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson. “A three-year-old girl was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where she received treatment for severe injuries to her leg. It is believed the owner of the dog left the scene before police arrived. No arrests have been made at this stage.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

The Met is urging anyone with information about the dog owner or who saw what happened to come forward immediately. Call 101 quoting reference 01/8008839/25.
