Gani, the 39-year-old Pizza Hut supervisor turned aspiring actor, was booted out of the Big Brother house last night in a heart-stopping eviction vote against fellow contestant Zelah. The exit left him visibly shattered.
Gani Speaks Out: ‘I Don’t Know What to Say’
On the Late and Live after-show, Gani opened up to hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu about his shock and disappointment. “I seriously don’t know what to even say right now,” he confessed. He lamented not having enough time to show his true colours to both viewers and housemates.
Big Brother UK’s official Twitter paid tribute, tweeting: “Gani is your second Evicted Housemate! Gani you were truly an *ICONIC* Housemate 💞 #BBUK”
Fans Outraged: ‘Wrong Person Got the Boot!’
- Big Brother fans flooded social media, slamming the eviction and demanding changes to the voting process.
- One viewer pleaded: “Go back to regular nominations next week so we won’t lose good ppl like this.”
- Another fumed: “Wrong person left, I wanted to see Gani and Caroline kicked off.”
- “Why are we keeping the boring ones in?” questioned an irate fan.
But it wasn’t unanimous. One user tweeted, “I’m happy he’s gone to be honest, guys.”
Gani’s Big Brother Vision: Energy, Not Strategy
Before stepping into the house, Gani promised he’d bring pure energy to the game, openly admitting he wasn’t playing with a winning strategy. “Everyone who sees my social media thinks I have a very quiet attitude, which they say comes across as possibly arrogant,” he explained. “But when they actually meet me, they quickly change their minds and realise I’m quite lovely.”
