A man in his 20s is fighting for his life after leaping from a moving vehicle on Fore Street, Edmonton, at around 2am on Saturday, July 22.

Emergency services were called to the scene following reports that the man had sustained serious head injuries.

Paramedics quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police have confirmed that the vehicle involved sped off after the incident, and no arrests have been made at this time.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers were called at approximately 2.10am to reports of a man suffering head injuries in Fore Street, Edmonton, N18. The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition. We believe he jumped from a moving vehicle which then left the scene. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them by calling 101 or tweeting @MetCC, quoting reference CAD795/22Jul.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
