Kent Police responded to a serious incident on the A226 London Road in Stone, Dartford, after a pedestrian was struck by a car at approximately 3:50pm on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
The collision occurred near the junction with Acacia Road, prompting emergency services to attend the scene promptly.
Emergency crews, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, provided treatment to the injured woman before transporting her to a local hospital for further care.
Following the incident, police arrested another woman in connection with the collision.
The A226 was temporarily closed while officers conducted their investigation but has now been reopened to traffic.
Kent Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
