Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they believe is connected to a sexual assault that took place in Whitstable. The incident occurred just after 11:30 AM on Friday, June 21, 2024, on Canterbury Road, where a woman was inappropriately touched over her clothing.
Detective Constable Sian Smith, who is leading the investigation, acknowledged that the footage is not of the best quality but expressed hope that it might help someone recognise the man or recall relevant information. She stated, “Although the image is not of the best quality, we are hopeful that it may jog someone’s memory or help someone recognise the man pictured.”
Kent Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or has information about the assault to come forward immediately.
