Two men were brutally attacked on the London-bound A2, between the A2050 and A28 junctions near Wincheap. The violent assault took place in the early hours of Saturday, December 14, 2024, between 5:00 AM and 5:40 AM.
Authorities have identified a silver Mercedes-Benz C Class and a white SEAT as vehicles involved in the incident. The victims were standing on the roadside when they were attacked, prompting a serious emergency response.
One man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital in London. The second victim is receiving treatment at a local hospital. Police have not yet released further details regarding their conditions.
Kent Police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or saw either vehicle in the moments before the assault to come forward. A spokesperson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been travelling in the area and witnessed the incident, or has relevant dashcam footage. Any information, no matter how small, could assist our investigation.”
