Tragedy on A30: Elderly Driver Dies in Crash
Thomas Andrews, 84, from Truro, lost his life on Monday, May 30, after his silver Land Rover Discovery crashed. A female passenger suffered minor injuries and was hospitalised.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Police responded just after 7.15pm. The A30 was shut in both directions to let the Cornwall Air Ambulance land and assist the injured.
Investigation Underway
Forensic teams combed the scene overnight. Officers handed the area back to Highways around 4.55am after completing their inquiry.
