Kent Police were alerted at 6.45pm on Monday 3 June 2024 following a report from a third party that three teenagers had attacked a boy in a shocking bag snatch attempt. The incident took place on a footpath between Mace Lane and Heathfield Road, located right behind the local fire station.
According to witnesses, the four boys involved — three attackers and the victim — all left the scene heading towards Heathfield Road. Police quickly attended the area and conducted a search but were unable to locate either the suspects or the assaulted boy.
The victim has not yet come forward, and officers are urging anyone who saw the incident or has any information to contact them immediately. When reaching out, please quote reference 46/91299/24.
