A teenager has been fatally stabbed in Whitstable, Kent, prompting a murder investigation by local police. The victim, a man in his late teens, was found with stab wounds in the early hours of Friday, 3 April 2026.
Emergency services were called to Belmont Road shortly after 2am, where officers and paramedics discovered the 19-year-old male with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of an air ambulance crew, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kent Police have sealed off parts of Belmont Road while forensic teams conduct a thorough investigation. A tent has been set up at the crime scene as officers continue to gather evidence.
A Kent Police spokesperson said, “Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday 3 April 2026 to reports of a serious assault on Belmont Road, Whitstable. Officers and paramedics attended, and a 19-year-old boy sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene. A murder investigation has been launched.
