Detectives are investigating after a teenage boy was attacked and robbed on a bus in Canterbury. The incident occurred on the Triangle bus that stopped at Westgate Towers at around 3pm on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Two passengers on the bus suddenly assaulted the boy. A passerby intervened to stop the attack and forced the suspects off the bus. Despite this, the victim sustained injuries that required hospital treatment.
The victim’s phone, AirPods, and glasses were stolen during the robbery. Police believe the victim and the attackers likely know each other, adding a concerning element to the case.
