A teenage girl was sexually assaulted on Tunbridge Wells Common between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday, 18 October 2025. The attacker, described as a stranger, approached her while she was walking from Victoria Road towards the Millennium Clock.

The assault took place near a rock formation close to Mount Ephraim and the Molyneux Park Road junction.

Following a swift investigation, police arrested a man in his 30s on Monday, 20 October at around 3:30pm. He is currently in custody on suspicion of rape.

Despite the arrest, Kent Police are continuing their search for any other possible suspects or witnesses connected to the incident.
