A teenage boy was left bloodied after a woman threw a Peroni bottle at him on a train arriving at Dewsbury station.
The incident occurred at around 9.20pm on Sunday, 27 November. The victim was travelling with friends when the woman, who was standing near the train doors, suddenly hurled the bottle as the train pulled into the station.
The bottle struck the back of the teen’s head, causing a deep cut and heavy bleeding. The boy required stitches following the attack.
British Transport Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They have released a CCTV image of the woman involved in the incident.
