A shocking robbery occurred in Ramsgate’s Coleman Crescent recreation ground on Monday morning, August 1, 2022. A teenage boy was attacked and robbed in broad daylight.
At around 11.30 a.m., the 12-13-year-old victim was with friends when a suspect reportedly struck him over the head. The thief then fled the scene with the victim’s cash and glasses, leaving the teen injured and in need of medical attention.
The suspect is described as approximately 4 feet tall, aged 12-13, wearing black shorts and a black Hoodrich t-shirt. The suspect was seen riding a red bicycle away from the scene.
Kent Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to call 01843 222289, quoting case number 46/148537/22. Alternatively, tips can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers at 0800 555111 or via their online form.
