Police were scrambled just after midnight on Sunday, 26 February, following reports of a stabbing on Barnfield Road, SE18. Emergency crews, including London Ambulance and Air Ambulance, quickly arrived at the scene.
A 19-year-old man was found with serious stab wounds and was rushed to hospital. His condition is now life-threatening.
Despite the gravity of the attack, no arrests have been made. Officers are urgently investigating what led to the brutal stabbing and are actively searching for the attacker.
Police have issued a plea for help, urging anyone with information to contact them via 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD10/26Feb. Additionally, people can provide information anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
