Police are searching for suspects after a 17-year-old boy was threatened with violence and robbed in broad daylight in Stapleford. The teenager was held at knifepoint and forced to hand over his phone, earphones, and bike while walking home from work.
The incident took place just before 2.30pm on Sunday, 30 October, on Bardills Island near Brian Clough Way in Stapleford. The victim was left shaken and without his belongings following the brazen robbery.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man and a woman who are believed to have vital information about the crime. Detective Casey Messenger urged the public to assist with the investigation, saying: “This was a scary incident but thankfully the teenager was not injured. We are piecing everything together and need help identifying these two.”
