On 10 December at around 11.30pm, a woman was standing on the platform at Shepherds Bush station when a man suddenly sexually assaulted her.
The woman bravely confronted the attacker, but he quickly fled to the Westbound platform and jumped on a train to escape.
British Transport Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses to come forward with any information about the suspect.
