On Saturday, March 13, just before noon, a violent attempted car theft took place on Frodesley Road in Sheldon. A man tried to snatch the car keys from a woman delivery driver in her 60s and punched her in the face.
The attacker then shoved the woman to the ground and fled the scene empty-handed at around 11:45am.
The victim suffered a fractured elbow and a cut on her face. She was hospitalised but is now making a good recovery following treatment.
West Midlands Police are actively searching for the suspect involved in this brutal assault. Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the man to come forward with information.
