Kent Police are investigating a serious crash on Alkham Valley Road and are urgently seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to assist with their inquiries.
The collision occurred at around 9pm on Monday, 25 August 2025, near the section of Alkham Valley Road where it passes under the A20.
The crash involved two vehicles: a blue Seat Ibiza and a silver BMW. Emergency services, including paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene promptly.
Both drivers sustained life-changing injuries. One driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment, while the other was transferred to a specialist centre.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is asking anyone who has dashcam footage from Alkham Valley Road at the time of the crash to come forward. Officers are especially keen to speak with the driver of a white hatchback travelling towards the A20, who may have witnessed the incident.
Dashcam footage can be uploaded directly via Kent Police’s online portal.
