A violent racially aggravated assault took place in Maidstone in the early hours of 23 August 2025, leaving a man with a fractured cheekbone. The incident occurred outside Top Hut Pizza & Chicken on the High Street, where a group of friends were enjoying a night out.
At around 4am, several unknown men entered the venue and reportedly directed racial abuse at the group. This quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Two men were punched during the scuffle, sustaining serious facial injuries including a broken nose and damaged teeth.
Kent Police conducted a thorough review of hours of CCTV footage from town centre cameras and nearby businesses. They have now released images of five men they wish to identify and question in connection with the attack.
