Natalie, 32, was brutally stabbed to death in her Silverwood Green home in Lurgan nearly three weeks ago. Shockingly, she was 15 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness confirmed that the investigation is ongoing. He stated, “I believe Natalie’s killer is someone she knew and trusted enough to let into her home.”
Police have released CCTV footage showing a man carrying a rucksack near Natalie’s home at 8:52pm on Sunday, 18th December. The man is seen leaving the area around 9:30pm, wearing trainers with light soles.
DCI McGuinness urged the public, “We’re desperate to identify this man. If you recognise him, please do the right thing and come forward. Do you want to protect someone who could kill a woman and her unborn child?”
The detective also appealed for anyone who knew Natalie, her friends, or anyone who visited her house to contact the police. He added, “Information from friends, acquaintances, or even social media contacts could be crucial.”
Since the murder, officers have conducted 200 house-to-house inquiries, seized over 3,000 hours of CCTV footage, and sent 50 items for forensic testing.
A £20,000 reward is being offered by a charity for information leading to an arrest. Crimestoppers guarantees complete anonymity and can be contacted at 0800 555 111.
Police have increased patrols around Lurgan and Craigavon in response to the incident. DCI McGuinness said, “Natalie and her unborn baby’s deaths have devastated a loving family. We are determined to bring the killer to justice. Anyone with information must speak up.”
