Police are urgently searching for witnesses after a brutal aggravated burglary took place in broad daylight on West End Road, Southampton.
Between 10am and 11am on Friday, 11 September, two men forced their way into a home on West End Road. One of the men posed as an electric meter reader to gain access to the property.
Once inside, the intruders attacked a 29-year-old woman, inflicting a severe cut to her face. After the assault, the men fled the scene with some cash.
Although the two individuals pictured in CCTV footage were not involved in the crime, police believe they were nearby at the time and may have important information that could assist the investigation.
Authorities are appealing to the public: if you recognise these individuals or have any information related to the incident, please come forward.
