Nottinghamshire Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was assaulted in Nottingham city centre during the early hours of Saturday, 5 November.
Officers were called to Thurland Street just before 4.30am following reports of the assault.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, but police say the attack has left him physically and emotionally shaken.
Detectives have now released photographs of two women they wish to speak to, believing these individuals may hold vital information to help solve the case.
Detective Constable Helen Pannell said, “We’ve been working hard to piece together exactly what happened that night and are now seeking help to try and identify these two females. We believe they may have vital information that could really help with our inquiries so would urge them to come forward or anyone who recognises them to contact us.”
