Three Men Arrested After Football Fan Murdered in Basingstoke
Dean Evans Dies After Early Morning Assault
Hampshire Police are probing the murder of 31-year-old football fan Dean Evans in Basingstoke. Officers were called to a Benham Road address at 5:30am on Friday, April 8th, following reports of an assault.
When police arrived, they found Mr Evans lying in the street with serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service but tragically died shortly after arrival.
Three Local Men Held for Murder
Three men from Basingstoke have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Two aged 22 and one aged 20, all remain in custody and are being questioned by detectives.
