Police hunt witnesses after bold handbag grab attempt on Ryde High Street.
Woman Targeted Outside Iceland
A 28-year-old woman was loading her car boot just after 2pm on Wednesday, November 2, when a man approached her outside Iceland on Ryde High Street. The suspect grabbed her handbag strap but failed to snatch it.
Brazen Daytime Attempt on Busy Street
PC Leah Fearn from 1 CID said: “This happened in broad daylight on a busy high street, with plenty of people around.” Police are urging anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
