At 8.40am on Monday 22 July 2024, a burglary occurred at a residence in Brickfield Farm Close, causing distress to the occupant. The victim, a pensioner, had just answered a knock at the door when a group of men forced their way inside.
During the incident, the victim was allegedly pushed to the floor by the intruders, who then fled the scene with a quantity of cash and a watch. The police have described the event as a serious and troubling crime.
One of the suspects was seen wearing a distinctive red and yellow top and was carrying a parcel at the time of the break-in. This detail is considered important for identifying the individual involved.
Kent Police are also investigating a suspicious vehicle linked to the incident. Officers have released information about a silver or gold Renault Clio that was spotted near the scene around the time of the burglary. Detectives believe this vehicle may provide vital clues to the investigation.
