A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car on Reede Road, near Dagenham Heathway, on Sunday afternoon, December 1.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2.37pm following reports of the collision. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service quickly arrived and found the man suffering from head injuries.

The victim was taken to hospital where doctors confirmed his injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, and no arrests have been made so far.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information to contact police on 101 quoting reference CAD 4326/01Dec. Information can also be reported anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
