Police are investigating a fatal collision on the A2 near Gravesend that resulted in the death of a man in his 20s. The incident occurred on Monday, 17 August 2020, at approximately 11.25pm.
The victim was walking along the Londonbound A2 near the Gravesend slip road when he was hit by a white Vauxhall Movano van. Emergency services, including officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the scene but unfortunately confirmed the man had died.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for anyone who witnessed the pedestrian or the van shortly before the crash to come forward. They are also requesting any dash cam footage that may provide additional information about the incident.
