A vile man exposed himself twice on London buses, shocking and disgusted fellow passengers. The incidents took place on bus routes X140 and 282, with police now seeking the public’s help to identify the offender.
On Tuesday, 8 February, at around 2:40pm, a man sitting on bus route X140 heading towards Harrow exposed himself through a hole in his trousers. This was not the first time such an incident had occurred.
Just months earlier, on Monday, 7 August at about 6:35pm, a similar incident happened on bus route 282 near Moat Farm Road, Northolt. Police believe the same man is responsible for both outrages.
Officers are treating these incidents as linked and have released an image to assist in catching the offender. Sergeant Matthew Brown from the Roads and Transport Policing Command said, “I am asking anyone who recognises the man in this image to come forward and speak to the police. Exposure is treated as a serious offence and no one should be made to feel uncomfortable when simply using public transport.”
He added, “If you know this man, or have any information which could assist this investigation, please get in contact immediately.”
To help catch the bus flash, members of the public are encouraged to:
- Call police on 101 and quote crime number 2521226/22
- Tweet @MetCC with any tips
- Report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
Don’t let this creep terrorise public transport. Speak up and stop him now!
