Kent Police were dispatched at around 1pm on Wednesday, June 9, after receiving reports that raised alarm over a person in East Hoath Wood, Gillingham.
Officers quickly secured all entrances to the woodland, preventing public access to the area. Cordon tape was placed deep into the forest, where two Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) stood guard to ensure no one entered or exited the site.
A Kent Police spokesperson stated: “Officers, together with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, attended the location and remain at the scene.”
